這十多年的教學經驗,讓身為老師的我,清楚了解學生學習的困難處,外加工業系的學生較喜歡動手做。因此,我設計多個教學個案供學生分組學習。以作業研究(上)和(下)為例,這些教學個案來自過往的產學案、研究案或研究生論文的精簡版。這些個案除可引起學生的學習興趣,解決實務問題更可增強學生的學習成就感,進而增加學生的自信心。陪伴著學生們動手實作,從不知如何下手到解決問題後的笑容和自信,就是身為老師的最大快樂。
Over the past decade of teaching, I’ve gained a deep understanding of students’ learning challenges. Particularly with students in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering who prefer hands-on activities, I’ve designed multiple instructional cases for group learning. For example, the case studies used in “Operations Research (I)” and “(II)” courses are simplified versions derived from past industry-academic collaborations, research projects, or graduate theses. These cases pique students’ interest in learning and address practical issues, enhancing their sense of achievement and boosting their confidence. Accompanying students through hands-on activities, witnessing their journey from uncertainty to problem-solving, and seeing their smiles and newfound confidence is a teacher’s greatest joy.
